Here is a partial list of super foods that are great additions to your green smoothies. More research is being done everyday and as we find more information about fruits and leafy greens to add to this list, we will be sure to pass that information along to you.

In the meantime, look for ways to incorporate as many of these super foods into your diet as possible. Eating these foods raw is always best, and blended into a healthy green smoothie is the best known and most convenient way to consume large amounts of these life-giving super foods.

Not all super foods are suitable for green smoothies, and you may want to try the more familiar foods first. But once you get into a green smoothie routine, you will be excited to seek out and try different foods that you can blend into your green smoothie. I haven’t tried onions yet, but some of the more exotic fruits like pomegranates are wonderful and some of the lesser known greens like watercress are delicious. Happy eating!
